How did you get involved in rugby?
"My roommate in college played rugby and after a season she asked me to come to practice. I immediately loved it, the people were great and loved the overall competitiveness."
Other interests:
"Snowboarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, biking, boating, hiking...anything outdoors really."
Favorite rugby memory:
"There are so many great rugby memories ... but a couple of my favorites include going on my first rugby tour to the UK in 2001 (go KU!) and winning the Trinidad 7's tournament with Atlantis in 2007."
Rugby mentors/inspirations:
"The most influential player that I have played along side was Angel Bishop, she helped me understand how to read the field and encouraged me to play upper level rugby."
Coaching influences:
"Julie McCoy has had the greatest impact on my rugby career, encouraging me to start lifting and working toward playing at the national level. I have also had the privilege of being coached by Emil Signes. It's amazing how both of these coaches are able to get all the players focused and buy into their game plan."
